I’m Bree, an agent on the Upstate Curious Team. My imagination and design background sets me apart from other agents: I can easily visualize the potential of a property and help you see it, too. I’m reliable and fiercely loyal to my clients, crafting the best possible offers and listening keenly to your needs and wants. I’m also excited to knowledge-share about up and coming towns in the area, and how each one has their own special attributes.

My husband and I (he’s been a broker for decades) started investing in real estate  in NYC in 2004, and I fell in love with the process and eventually got my license.  But, we needed more space for our kids and moving to the Hudson Valley was the right next move. We searched for a weekend home for years, eventually finding a gem on 3 acres with a pool in Highland. The hilly landscape and proximity to NYC, vineyards, breweries,  hiking and natural beauty won me over. In 2020 alone, we were able to help 7 of our city friends also find upstate homes, guiding them to unique properties.

I grew up on a farm in Iowa and moved to NYC. Prior to real estate, I spent 20 years as a fashion design director. Along the way, I founded an athleisurewear apparel company called Nesh that sold to Soul Cycle, Anthropologie and Barney's, to name a few.

When I’m not  helping my clients, you’ll find me hiking, doing yoga, reading fashion and interior design magazines, watching my kid’s soccer games, or playing with my Bernedoodle pup, Maxie.
