Kendall Hood Portrait

An Alabama native with saltwater in her soul, Kendall Hood grew up vacationing along Florida’s Emerald Coast. Those childhood summers spent on 30A and in Destin sparked a lifelong love for the beach and the laid-back elegance of coastal living. What began as a family tradition became a calling that eventually brought her home as one of the area’s leading luxury real estate professionals.

After earning a Marketing degree from LSU, Kendall launched her career in hospitality with the Waldorf Astoria in New York City, where she learned the art of world-class service and brand experience. In 2006, she traded skyscrapers for sugar-white sand, bringing her marketing expertise to the Emerald Coast and beginning a remarkable career in real estate.

Kendall spent six successful years with Emerald Grande, one of Destin’s premier luxury resort developments, where she mastered new construction sales, investment strategy, and second-home ownership. Working closely with developers and designers, she developed a talent for blending elevated coastal design with strategic market insight.

After earning her Broker’s License, Kendall founded Key Realty of the Emerald Coast, a boutique brokerage recognized for exceptional service and proven results. Building on that foundation, she launched The Kendall Hood Collection at Compass, where she now leads one of the top-performing teams on Florida’s Emerald Coast.

With over 20 years of experience, Kendall is known for her thoughtful guidance, polished professionalism, and deep local expertise. Her approach is both strategic and personal, offering a high-touch experience that reflects the boutique standard her clients have come to expect.

For Kendall, real estate is more than business. It’s about relationships, legacy, and helping clients find their own version of coastal living.

When she isn’t negotiating contracts or scouting listings, Kendall enjoys life on 30A with her husband, Jim, and their two children, Trace and Annabelle, spending weekends on the water and soaking in every sunset.
