Metro Phoenix has seen 10 homes sell for more than $10 million in the first half of the year.

The most expensive home, a Spanish Colonial estate in Paradise Valley, sold for over $15 million and featured six bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, two offices and two guest houses.

The average price of the 10 homes was $12,109,400, which is more than 26 times the median home price for all of metro Phoenix. The median home price was $450,000 in May, the same as it was in April, according to the Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service.

Most of the homes were in Paradise Valley, though three were in Scottsdale's Silverleaf community and one was in Phoenix.

A Delaware LLC called LLV Management paid cash for a 12,935-square-foot Paradise Valley mansion in mid-May. The Spanish Colonial estate behind a hidden private gate comes with six bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, two offices, a butler’s pantry, a wine room, two guest houses, a separate gym, a tennis court, a rooftop viewing deck and a seven-car garage. John McCarthy, owner of the Kansas-based car dealership firm McCarthy Auto Group, was the seller. Marissa Kline and Christopher Karas of Launch Powered By Compass had the listing.
