Selling The Mountains: Steven Shane — Disrupting the Status Quo

Steven Shane is consistently one of the top brokers in the Roaring Fork Valley and has closed more than a billion dollars in sales over the last 10 years. Since moving to the region over 25-years ago, he has leveraged his expertise and integrity to grow his personal client base and started Shane Aspen Real Estate. In our conversation we discussed the importance of playing by the rules when you’re a well-known person in the community, even if that means forgoing a large commission. The advantages of using a proprietary real estate-centric technology platform to disrupt the status quo. And lastly, we talked about getting creative to find unlisted properties, or even persuading a homeowner to become a seller, in an inventory-starved market.
